Brought in a Seiko 6139 that had been in a drawer for years. The pusher had seized and the movement was running about four minutes slow per day. They gave me a written quote before anything was touched, which I appreciated. Took about three and a half weeks. Came back running within thirty seconds per day and the pushers are crisp. The service sheet included the timegrapher numbers.

I needed a bracelet resized on a stainless steel sports watch — nothing complicated, just a couple of links removed and a new spring bar on one side. Walked in on a Tuesday, done by the same afternoon. Price was exactly what was quoted. Small thing but it made the watch wearable again after a year of sitting in a case.

Sent photos of my grandfather's Longines first, described the symptoms — gaining about two minutes per day, crown a bit loose. They gave me an estimate by message before I made the trip to Bangkok. The final cost came out slightly below the estimate because one part they thought might need replacing was still serviceable. That kind of honesty is not common.

Full overhaul on a Zenith El Primero I inherited. The case had some scratches I wanted addressed without losing the brushed panels. They explained the hand-finishing process before starting — what could be improved, what the limits were, what it would look like. Eight weeks end to end. I am happy with the result. It does not look new and it was not meant to; it looks looked-after.

Found the workshop while staying near Khao San. Needed a leather strap fitted to a vintage Omega — the lug width was slightly unusual. They had the right spring bars in stock and had it on within twenty minutes. Simple job but done properly. I have since sent a friend who needed chronograph work done and he was satisfied too.

Had a rubber strap replaced on my dive watch — the old one had become stiff and cracked slightly. They cleaned the case and lugs as part of the job without charging extra. Communication throughout was clear. They were upfront about what they could and could not do. Challenge
Vintage chronograph — stiff pushers, stopping erratically
A 1972 Heuer Autavia brought in stopping unpredictably and with pushers that required significant force. Owner suspected dried lubricant from decades of storage.
Work done
Full chronograph service on the base Valjoux 7736 movement. Column wheel pivots were worn; two were replaced with period-correct sourced parts. Pushers freed, reset hammer adjusted. Amplitude had been low — addressed through mainspring tension.
Outcome
Returned running within 45 seconds per day across positions, amplitude restored to 265°. Pushers operate normally. Turnaround was four weeks. Owner noted the pre-work assessment had correctly identified the column wheel wear as the likely cause.

Challenge
Modern sports watch — case scratched from daily wear
A current-generation steel sports watch submitted for overhaul. The owner wanted the movement serviced and the case and bracelet returned to a state closer to original without the case shoulders being over-polished.
Work done
Movement overhaul. Case and bracelet hand-finished: brushed surfaces restored with appropriate files and abrasive sticks; polished chamfers and lugs worked with graded paper and a hand buff only. Crystal replaced. Gaskets and crown seal renewed. Pressure tested to rated depth.
Outcome
Movement returned timing within 10 seconds per day. Brushed and polished surfaces recovered. Owner confirmed the case shoulder lines were preserved, which had been the specific concern. Turnaround was six weeks due to crystal availability. Pressure test passed.

Challenge
Inherited watch — sentimental value, unknown service history
A 1960s Omega Seamaster handed down through a family. Movement unknown condition; bracelet links had become loose; owner uncertain whether to invest in service.
Work done
Initial assessment at no charge. Movement opened: worn keyless works, mainspring past service life. Written quote presented. Owner approved. Movement overhauled, keyless works and mainspring replaced. Bracelet links retightened and cleaned. Crystal polished — not replaced at owner's request.
Outcome
Returned with a timegrapher record showing 25 seconds per day variance — within normal range for the calibre age. Bracelet secure. Owner's note at collection: "My father wore this watch every day for thirty years. I am glad it is running again." Turnaround five weeks.
